I graduated from Yorktown and went to NC State University where I graduated with a degree in Political Science and Public Relations. Then, on to American University for a MA in International Affairs. I found myself working as a project manager in the IT world and never really embraced it. I was still searching for my true calling but was fortunate enough to find my husband Eric along the way. In 2002 I decided to leave the IT world behind and pursue my true calling by going back to Nursing school. I followed my other true calling and became a mom to Matthew in 2003, Jonathan in 2004, and just this January to Claire. I am now a full time mom and a part time nurse working in the GYN Surgical unit at Fairfax Hospital. I love both my jobs. Eric and I live in Reston and still have deep family roots in Arlington and Vienna.
